"Okuizome" is a ceremony in which a baby imitates eating a meal, with the hope that the baby will never have trouble eating for the rest of its life.Although it varies by region, it is generally performed on the 100th day after birth.

Course menu

The meal includes fish with head and tail attached, such as sea bream, red rice, simmered dishes, pickles, and other foods to help strengthen the teeth, as well as teething stones, red and white rice cakes, and won chestnuts (these vary by region).

The role of pretending to feed the baby is called the "foster parent" and is usually performed by the longest-lived relative.

We have meal sets for boys and girls, so please let us know which one you would like when ordering.

*The tray for boys is vermilion, while the tray for girls is black on the outside and vermilion on the inside.

※ For details please contact the store.

*When ordering a Kaiseki meal (for adults) along with the First Meal meal
